Your vehicle's battery will be connected to an additional power source to keep the voltage stable for flashing your ECU. We will connect to the vehicles ODBII port and verify if a Toyota ECU update is required. After the ECU update we will flash the ECU with our custom tune. After idling the engine for about 5 min you will take your vehicle for a quick drive. This gives you an opportunity to get a feel for the throttle response, and if needed we can adjust the throttle to be either more or less aggressive. In total, please plan for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Our data shows that the long-term health of your engine will benefit from using high quality fuel from stations such as Mobil, Exxon, Shell, and Sunoco.
• Naturally aspirated vehicles can utilize 87+ octane fuel.
• Supercharged applications must run 91+ octane fuel
• E85 is currently not supported in our applications.
• You can run ethanol free fuel.
The ECU ID of your vehicle will remain unchanged and report back as stock.
Any modification done to a vehicle may void the warranty. That being said, the tune cannot be easily detected by the dealership since the ECU will continue to report as stock after the tune is flashed.
